Abstract

It is important to understand the role of architecture in the bamboo industry. The bamboo industry can be divided into three big groups: 1) Cultivation, 2)Processing, and 3) Utilization. Each one is divided in sub-groups, which are divided as well, and so on. To practice bamboo architecture demands to overview the whole system in order to have a clearer idea where, how, and why to act.
